Have you ever frozen due to uncertainty?
You’re thinking about making a change to how you eat.
You’re thinking about making a change to how you move.
You’re thinking about making some change that might help you look and feel as awesome as you are.
But you don’t.
You can’t stop thinking “what if”.
More specifically, “what if” that new approach doesn’t work for you.
The prospect of putting in that time and effort.
The prospect of the mental and emotional toll of hope that may not be fulfilled.
The prospect of trying another dietary or training strategy that doesn’t help move you towards your goals.
Causes you to freeze.
To do nothing.
To stay exactly where you are.
There’s nothing wrong with feeling this way.
It’s normal not to want to dedicate your time and energy towards an unworthy effort.
There’s the thing, though.
There’s only one way to find out.
The change you’re considering may not work for you.
That training program may not get you strong.
That eating habit may not get you lean and feeling awesome.
Cross that bridge when you get to it.
Don’t let uncertainty preclude action.
You’ll never know until you try.
You will take missteps.
You will try things that don’t work.
Don’t consider misdirected effort a personal failure.
This is all part of the process of learning what works for you.
Keep trying new things.
Keep reflecting on how it’s working for you.
Keep moving forward.
You are worthy of the best life.
Creating it will take some time and effort.
You’ve got this.
