Do you ever feel dissatisfied?
As though your life isn’t how it could – or should – be?
Seeing areas in which you want more?
Maybe it’s just one of these areas.
Perhaps it’s all of them.
You might not even know.
You might just have this vague, underlying feeling of emptiness.
That there’s a hole that needs to be filled.
That things aren’t how they should be.
How do you deal with this dissatisfaction?
Do you face it head on?
Or do you put it off?
Do you turn a blind eye?
So many of us choose not to deal with this feeling.
We try as hard as we can not to acknowledge it.
We turn to anything and everything to not acknowledge it.
Sure, some of us do these things in a sincere effort to grow.
But so many of us do them for another reason.
To mask our feelings of dissatisfaction.
And where does that get us?
At best, nowhere.
At worst, deeper into the feeling we’re trying to forget.
Dissatisfaction isn’t to be ignored.
It’s not to be numbed.
Distraction doesn’t make it go away.
It’s a signal for change.
Showing you that something isn’t right.
Revealing that you’re not living your best life.
Do something about it.
This will not be an easy process.
It will take some digging.
Such efforts do not often come naturally.
Put in the work.
Like any skill, you’ll get better.
Once you have a feel for where you’re feeling dissatisfied, get to work.
One step after another.
Keep moving forward.
It will take time.
It will take patience.
It will take perseverance.
But it will be worth it.
You’re worth it.
You’ve got this.
