Some days, it’s hard to find the drive to keep going.
Or to even get started.
We’ve got a “to do” list.
Maybe even things we want to do.
Yet we just can’t build the momentum to do them.
We’d rather lay in bed.
We’d rather chill out and scroll on our phone.
We’d rather do anything but “the thing”.
It might be going to work.
It might be working out.
It might be grocery shopping.
Hell, it might even be just responding to that text.
Some days we’re just not feeling up to it.
We know that whatever effort we put in won’t be our best.
So we decide to just not put forth any effort at all.
Why even try if we’re not going to go all in?
If you feel this way, you might reconsider your approach.
You don’t have to choose between everything and nothing.
There are infinite shades of gray between black and white.
There are other options.
You won’t always feel motivated.
You won’t always feel inspired.
You won’t always feel excited.
You can always show up.
Even if you don’t give your all.
Even if you just check the box.
Even if you do the minimum.
Go through the motions.
That’s far better than nothing.
Even those days when you barely do anything.
Those days add up.
One after another.
Moving you closer toward your goal.
Toward your most excellent life.
You’ve got this.
