One of the coolest aspects of health and fitness is that you have the power to create change in your body and your life.
You can change how you eat.
You can change how you move.
You can change how you live.
And you’ll see changes in how you look.
You’ll see changes in how you feel.
You’ll see changes in how you perform.
With this “change” in mind, it’s easy to get caught up in always looking forward.
Always thinking about who you’re going to be.
Always thinking about some version of yourself in the future.
Completely overlooking yourself right now.
The problem with this mindset is that you are always living in right now.
You’re never going to be that “future” self.
You’re just you.
You always have been.
You always will be.
The good news is, you’re enough.
Actually, you’re awesome.
Sure, you can keep getting more awesome.
That doesn’t mean that you aren’t already ridiculously awesome.
Working towards a stronger, healthier, more capable body is totally cool.
No amount of fat lost or muscle gained, however, will make you any more valuable or happy than you are now.
Don’t do the work because of how awesome you’ll be.
Do it because of how awesome you are.
You are going to crush this.
