“I’ve already ruined my progress.”
“I don’t know if I can keep this up.”
“I might as well not even try.”
It’s easy to let yesterday’s disappointments and tomorrow’s uncertainties prevent action today.
The truth is, yesterday was once today and tomorrow will be soon.
If you show up.
Do the work.
Make it happen.
Today.
Always today.
Yesterday and tomorrow will fall into place.
There will be times, of course, when you might benefit from reassessing how your strategy fits within the context of your other goals and commitments.
More often than not, though, this situation presents itself when overdoing things, not when struggling to take action at all.
So, if you find yourself ruminating over yesterday’s missed workout.
Beating yourself up over that meal that wasn’t in alignment with your goals.
Worrying about next week’s unpredictable schedule.
Stop it.
Do what you can.
With what you have.
Today.
Here.
Now.
That’s all you can do.
And that’s good enough.
You are enough.
You are worthy.
You always have been.
You always will be.
Yesterday, today, and tomorrow.
You’ve got this.
