Just getting started is a struggle some days.
You have no desire to prepare quality food.
You don’t feel like training.
You drag yourself to work.
On days like this, just show up.
Make whatever progress you can.
No matter how little.
It won’t be perfect.
Keep showing up.
This might not be easy.
Especially for those of us with perfectionist tendencies.
Who often take an “all or nothing” approach.
We don’t like the idea of a sub-par effort.
The idea of doing the bare minimum.
Of checking the box.
But, somedays, that’s the best you can do.
It might not seem like it, but it is.
You won’t always feel 100%.
You won’t always be driven.
You won’t always give your best.
That’s okay.
You can always show up.
We all struggle sometimes.
Have some self-compassion.
Do what you can.
That’s all you can do.
That’s enough.
You’re enough.
You’ve got this.
