Sometimes we just cannot seem to be able to stay consistent with our habits.
We can’t stick to our eating habits.
We don’t train regularly.
Our sleep is all over the place.
Often, we recognize this.
We tell ourselves that we’re the problem.
That we’re stuck.
That we can’t break this pattern.
“I keep starting and stopping.”
The truth is, you don’t.
You started when you were born.
You’ll stop when you die.
You will try lots of different things between those two points.
You’ll try different dietary strategies.
Different training modalities.
There is no “starting” and “stopping”.
Your life is only a series of moments, strung together, one after another.
The only thing that ever matters is the next moment and what you do with it.
So nail it.
For no reason other than to make that moment as awesome as possible.
One “off” meal doesn’t undo or ruin all of the previous meals that were “on”.
One missed training session doesn’t completely undo all of those that you hit.
One night of poor sleep doesn’t negate all those during which you slept like a lion.
None of these negate or detract from your next meal, training session, or night of sleep, either.
You are worthy of the best life.
That’s right now.
That’s always been now.
That will always be now.
Do the best you can.
That’s all you can do.
You’re going to do great.
